New Delhi, Aug 08 (ANI): While arguing against the no-confidence motion, Union Minister and BJP leader Kiren Rijiju spoke on North-East and informed that AFSPA was removed from North-East. “Before 2014, many people from the Northeast faced racial discrimination and atrocities in Delhi and other major cities of the country. After 2014 the situation changed, and the DGP conference was held in Guwahati for the first time after independence. During this meeting, the PM directed that police must ensure the security of people from the Northeast. Now, ‘AFSPA removed from the northeast and has not seen any new separatist groups in the northeast. In the last 9 years, 8 thousand terrorists surrendered in the North-East,” said Kiren Rijiju.
