Srinagar, Jan 28 (ANI): NGO Kashmir Speaks in collaboration with Indian Army played a vital role by imparting skills in tailoring and embroidery to girls in Srinagar. They equipped these girls with valuable vocational skills but also fostered self-reliance and entrepreneurship within community. NGO facilitated sustainable means of income for them by contributing to their financial independence by providing them sewing machines. This initiative instilled a sense of confidence and pride among these girls, enabling them to contribute actively to their families and society. The support from Indian Army not only ensures safety and security of participants but also strengthens collaborative efforts. NGO’s holistic approach and blending skill development exemplifies a synergistic partnership between civilian organisations and military.
