Janakpur (Nepal), Nov 24 (ANI): Nepal’s ancient city of Janakpur is filled with Bibah Panchami fervour as the main day of the week-long celebrations approaches. This marks the second year since the Pran Pratishtha of Lord Ram’s idol in Ayodhya, and the maternal home of Goddess Sita is fully prepared for the festivities. Major works, from cleaning to setting up attractive tents and pavilions, have been completed across the Janaki Temple area, Rangabhumi ground and Bahrabigha premises. The sites have been beautifully decorated with vibrant lights. A large influx of sadhus, saints, monks and devotees from Ayodhya, Rishikesh, Haridwar and other spiritual centres is expected. One of Mithila’s biggest festivals, Bibah Panchami continues to strengthen Nepal–India religious ties.
