Panipat (Haryana), August 09 (ANI): Neeraj Chopra’s mother, Saroj Devi elated as her son secured a silver medal in the Paris Olympics men's javelin throw, equating the achievement to gold. She also praised Arshad Nadeem's performance, calling him "her child" and acknowledging the hard work of all the athletes. Speaking to ANI, Saroj Devi said, “We are very happy, for us silver is also equal to gold...he was injured, so we are happy with his performance. The one who won the gold [Nadeem] is also my child. They all work hard to get there.”
