India celebrated the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the Iron Man of India, with grandeur at the Statue of Unity in Gujarat. Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid floral tributes and administered the Unity Pledge, reaffirming the nation’s commitment to integrity and oneness. The grand Ekta Diwas Parade, led by IPS officer Suman Nala, featured contingents from BSF, CRPF, and state police, including the Assam Police, which participated for the first time with 12 women officers symbolizing inclusivity. Cultural performances, patriotic displays, and tricolour illuminations around the world’s tallest statue reflected the spirit of “Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat.”
