Musical concert ‘Reclaim the Saaz’ enthralls young audience at SKICC Srinagar

Srinagar (J&K), November 19 (ANI): Red FM, a leading name in the Radio industry of the Kashmir valley, proudly presented the first-ever on-ground rendition of "Reclaim the Saaz," a remarkable Kashmiri musical concert. Red-FM came forward with one of the biggest musical concerts in Sher E Kashmir International Conference Center (SKICC) on the banks of Dal Lake. The Department of Tourism of Kashmir partnered with Red FM to organise the Musical concert. On this occasion, legendary maestro Rashid Hafiz Sahab, along with the soulful voices of Shazia Bashir, Ashfaq Kawa, and Kabul Bukhari performed on the stage. Together, they ignited the stage, breathing life into the hearts of the audience with the enchanting melodies of Kashmiri Saaz and Awaaz. "Reclaim the Saaz" not only celebrated the rich cultural heritage of Kashmir but also symbolized resilience, creativity, and the collective spirit of the community. “This event organized by RedFM and the Dept of Tourism is very appealing to the young generations. It engages with them. This shows how, us, the people of Kashmir have longed for peace, especially the young generations. This also gives the performers and singers to showcase their talents and take our Kashmir forward,” said a resident of Srinagar. “RedFM has always tried to revive Kashmiri music. This is the reason we have organised this on the ground. Plus it is the winter, so it has also become a reason for an outing along with entertainment,” said RJ Zameer, an organising member.
