“More than expectations…” Konark Sun Temple’s architecture leaves ambassadors, diplomats spellbound

Puri (Odisha), November 16, (ANI): Ambassadors, High Commissioners, and diplomats from 14 countries, along with their spouses and associates, visited the iconic 13th-century Sun Temple in Konark, Odisha on November 16. Speaking to ANI Bhutan's Ambassador Vetsop Namgyel praised the UNESCO World Heritage Site, calling its intricate carvings and architectural design a masterpiece deserving eternal preservation. Bhutan Ambassador Vetsop Namgyel said, “Well ah this is my first time visiting the Konark Sun Temple. I have heard so much about it. And what I see when I actually found the site met my expectations and even more than my expectations because this is a very important historical moment. The architectural design is something that deserves to be preserved forever as a world heritage, the sculptures the carvings are very and very masterfully done”
