Uttarkashi (Uttarakhand), November 29 (ANI): In a Major success, all the 41 trapped workers were rescued from the collapsed Silkyara tunnel on November 28. All of the workers were successfully rescued on the 17th day of the Silkyara tunnel collapse. As soon as the 41 trapped workers were rescued, they were greeted by officials present at the spot. Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami and Union Minister VK Singh were also present at ground zero. Encouraged by the successful rescue operation, the rescue teams raised slogans of 'Bharat Mata Ki Jai'. One of the rescued workers gave a thumbs-up the moment he came out of the rescue pipe. The rescued 41 workers were shifted to nearby hospitals for further treatment and observation. Multi-agencies carried out rescue operations on a war footing scale since the incident happened on Nov 12. Meanwhile, PM Modi on Nov 29 spoke with rescued workers and called it a matter of great satisfaction.
