Meghalaya SIT closes in on prime accused Sonam Raghuvanshi, Transit Remand Sought for all 4 accused

Shillong (Meghalaya), June 9, 2025 (ANI): In a significant development in the Raghuvanshi couple case, SIT chief and SP (City), East Khasi Hills, Herbert Pyniaid Kharkongor confirmed that four individuals have been arrested and will be produced before their respective courts. The SIT will seek transit remand to bring them to Shillong for further investigation. He also stated that a team has nearly reached Ghazipur, where they will formally arrest prime accused Sonam and obtain her transit remand as well.
