“Matter of happiness…” Farmers elated as PM Modi set to release 17th installment of PM-KISAN scheme

Varanasi (UP), June 18 (ANI): Soon after assuming office for the third term, PM Modi authorized the release of the 17th installment of the PM-KISAN scheme. The PM is scheduled to release the 17th installment of the PM-KISAN scheme via Direct Benefit Transfer mode on June 18, which aims to benefit 9.3 crore farmers. Meanwhile, beneficiary farmers expressed happiness and called it a ‘matter of happiness’. PM-KISAN scheme was launched back in 2019 to supplement the financial needs of all land-holding farmers. A financial benefit of Rs 6,000/- per year in three equal installments, every four months, is transferred into the bank accounts of farmers.
