Massive fire breaks out at J&k’s Sonamarg, destroys Shops & Hotels

Sonamarg (J&K), Feb 9th (ANI): A massive fire in J& K’s Sonamarg left numerous shops, and hotels shattered. Visuals showcase the aftermath, capturing the devastation. Locals are grappling with the immense loss, with many businesses wedged. Further speaking on the matter, Ganderbal Deputy Commissioner, Jatin Kishore, said, "Our revenue and fire services team is here. We have assessed the damaged shops and we will forward the report today itself so the shop owners can get some relief... We have identified an area where fire services can be set up..." Meanwhile, MLA from Kangan in J&K, Mehar Ali reaches the incident spot to investigate the matter. He said, "This accident happened because of lack of a fire service vehicle... I had asked the CO Sonamarg for a government space for the fire service team. But he did not do anything.”
