The Indoor Stadium in Surat buzzed with energy as the Gujarat government hosted a grand cultural event ahead of the Madhavpur Mela in Porbandar, celebrating Lord Krishna and Princess Rukmini’s legendary union. Under the theme "Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat", 400 artists—200 from the North-East and 200 from Gujarat—presented stunning performances, including Tripura’s Mamita dance and Assam’s Bihu. The event, attended by students, locals, and officials, highlighted India's unity in diversity. As preparations intensify, this year’s Madhavpur Mela (April 6-10) promises grandeur, with 685 North-Eastern artists already in Gujarat.
