“Lakshadweep has huge potential..,” says Union Minister G Kishan Reddy

Hyderabad, Jan 07 (ANI): Amid the ongoing Lakshadweep vs Maldives row Union Minister G Kishan Reddy stated on January 07 that Lakshadweep has huge potential from the tourism point of view. He went on to say that Lakshadweep will become a tourist destination in the coming years and requested that citizens visit and explore the Indian island instead of going to foreign countries for holidays. G Kishan Reddy further added that once anyone goes to Lakshadweep, they will become ambassadors for the place. While speaking to ANI, Union Minister G Kishan Reddy said, "Lakshadweep has a huge potential from the tourism point of view... Recently, the Prime Minister also visited Lakshadweep. It will be a tourist destination in the coming years. There has to be an airport; the government is working on it. There is connectivity from Kerala, but air connectivity is required. There is no need to go to New Zealand or Switzerland. Everything is in Lakshadweep. People themselves have to become the ambassadors..."
