Kolkata rape case: CM Mamata invites junior doctors for meeting today, calls it a final reach out

Kolkata, September 16 (ANI): West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee will again hold a meeting with a delegation junior doctors at her residence. The meeting is scheduled for 5 pm on September 16. A letter has been sent to the junior doctors stating, "This is the fifth and final time we are reaching out to you for a meeting. However, the doctors have been demanding the live streaming of the meeting. This comes after Mamata Banerjee visited the junior doctors' protest site in front of Swasthya Bhaban, where she assured the doctors that she would address their demands and make efforts to fulfil them. Earlier on September 14, CM Mamata held a meeting with a delegation of 15 junior doctors at her residence. Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee also visited Swasthya Bhawan to meet the protesting doctors, assuring them that their demands would be addressed and that action would be taken against those responsible. Speaking with the doctors, the Chief Minister expressed her concern over their situation, stating that she had been losing sleep over their protest in the rain.
