Kolkata, September 12 (ANI): Junior doctors continue their protest over RG Kar Hospital rape-murder case at the Swasthya Bhavan on Sept 12. On September 9, the Supreme Court urged the doctors to return to work by 5 pm on September 10. Despite the Supreme Court’s “disciplinary action” warning, junior doctors defy top court’s deadline. Doctors called for a transparent discussion with Mamata Banerjee-led Bengal Govt over RG Kar Hospital incident. Earlier on Sept 11, the West Bengal Medical Council in Kolkata held a rally, demanding justice for ‘Abhaya’. The trainee doctor was raped and murdered inside the seminar hall of RG Kar Medical College on August 9.
