Kochi (Kerala), Oct 29 (ANI): Multiple explosions at a prayer meeting of Jehovah’s Witness believers at the Convention Centre jolted Kerala. At least one person was killed and 36 were critically wounded in the explosion in Kalamassery area. Soon after the horrific incident, HM Amit Shah spoke to Kerala Chief Minister P Vijayan and took stock of the situation. The Home Minister instructed NIA and NSG to reach on the spot and start an inquiry into the incident. An 8-member NSG team, including an officer, is on the way to Kerala to inquire about the bomb explosion. Meanwhile, Kerala Police suspected Improvised explosive devices behind the Kerala blast tragedy. Kerala DGP informed that 36 injured persons were undergoing treatment in various hospitals in the district. Meanwhile, the explosions triggered a political row as BJP trained guns at Kerala Govt. Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan has vowed thorough investigation after the fatal incident.
