Kerala: 4 killed, several injured in stampede at CUSAT tech fest

Kochi (Kerala), Nov 26 (ANI): At least four students were killed while several were injured after a stampede-like situation erupted during a tech-fest at the Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT). The accident took place during a music concert by Nikhita Gandhi that was held in the open-air auditorium on the campus. All the injured people have been taken to Kalamassery Medical College. Leader of Opposition VD Satheesan and Congress MP Hibi Eden arrived at the incident site. Meanwhile, Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan expressed shock over the incident and said immediate treatment is being given to all those injured in the incident.
