Srinagar (J&K), August 01, 2025 (ANI): In a remarkable story of innovation and entrepreneurship, Aneesa Iqbal, a young woman from Kashmir, has launched her first outlet in Srinagar dedicated to chemical-free personal care products. From handmade shampoos and perfumes to natural soaps and oils, Aneesa’s brand stands out for its commitment to purity and sustainability. Driven by a passion for healthy living and a desire to reduce harmful chemical exposure in everyday products, Aneesa began experimenting with natural ingredients at home. What started as a small-scale initiative soon grew into a full-fledged business, thanks to the growing demand for organic and toxin-free products in the Valley. “All my products are made using traditional techniques and natural ingredients like essential oils, herbs, and plant extracts. I don’t use any artificial preservatives, colors, or synthetic chemicals,” says Aneesa. Her range includes herbal shampoos, moisturizing soaps, natural deodorants, face packs, perfumes, and more — all designed to be gentle on the skin and environmentally friendly. The newly opened outlet in Srinagar has already started attracting attention from health-conscious consumers and those looking for safe, natural alternatives to mass-market products. Aneesa also offers customized formulations based on individual skin types and conditions. Her venture is not just a business — it’s also a mission to educate people about the harmful effects of chemicals in everyday cosmetics and the benefits of going natural. “Our ancestors relied on nature for beauty and wellness. I want to revive that tradition with a modern touch,” she adds. Aneesa’s story is an inspiring example of how young entrepreneurs in Kashmir are creating sustainable livelihoods while promoting health and wellness. With plans to expand her product line and reach more customers across the Valley.
