Kashmiri Designer transforms tradition into trend, builds internationally acclaimed fashion brand

Description: Srinagar (J&K), October 11, 2025 (ANI): In Kashmir’s growing fashion industry, one name stands out Shehla. A young woman who once worked in a Govt. she made the bold decision to quit her secure career and pursue her passion for designing. She is counted among the top designers in the Valley. Since childhood she loved creating and styling. Even when she was in school and was working one day she decided to take the risk and she quit job and start a designing in one room at Srinagar after she make some designs young generation like them and she start revive of old kashmiri traditional in modern look which become famous in young generation and she start receiving orders and she never give up and continuing struggles in her life despite her parents and friends are criticism her about this to quit job and start this designs and she start her designer studio in Srinagar. Her designs soon started attracting attention for their blend of modern fashion and Kashmiri tradition. From bridal wear to contemporary outfits her work became popular among the youth. Social media also played a key role in bringing her talent to a larger audience. Her brand is recognized across Kashmir. She caters to high-profile clients, celebrities, and brides who want unique designs for their big day. Her studio has also created opportunities for other young women interested in fashion. Shehla left a stable job to chase a dream. Many people told her it was a mistake but she believed in hard work and became dedicated to her goal. Her designs are now famous in gulf countries and middle east she received orders from other countries also for these custom designs. She also generates employment from this.
