Kashmiri political activist Junaid Qureshi has blasted Pakistan Army Chief General Asim Munir over his alleged nuclear threat during a US visit, calling it “foolish” and “irresponsible.” Speaking exclusively to ANI, Qureshi warned that such remarks reflect dangerous recklessness from Pakistan’s military leadership and exceed their constitutional authority. He stressed that only Pakistan’s civilian government holds the power to authorise nuclear use — not the military. Qureshi also accused Pakistan of decades of “double game” politics — backing terrorism for strategic gains while pretending to fight it when threatened.
