Kashmir University organises ‘Husn-e-Qirat’ Quran reciting competition during Ramadan

Srinagar (J&K), April 5 (ANI): The Kashmir University organised a Quran competition titled ‘Husn-e-Qirat’ aimed to educate people especially youth about proper method of reciting and basic teachings of the holy book. The event was organized by dean student’s welfare (DSW) in Gandhi Bhawan in which students recited the Quran with proper method, pronunciation and attractive voices in front of the audience. Ramadan is the best time to organize such events as people prefer to recite Quran more especially after five times prayers aimed to get the blessing of Allah. “We are very lucky to be a part of the special event and we enjoy this special competition organized by this university regarding reciting the holy Quran,” participants said.
