KASHCON 2024 showcases advanced physiotherapy techniques to combat arthritis

Srinagar (J&K), July 28, (ANI): To address the increasing prevalence of arthritis and related ailments in Kashmir, the J&K Physiotherapist Association organized a national-level conference titled ‘KASHCON 2024’ at Tagore Hall, Srinagar. The event aimed to promote advanced physiotherapy techniques and technologies to benefit patients in the region. The conference attracted renowned physiotherapists from across the country, who delivered lectures on the latest advancements in the field. Topics included Hippo-therapy, Dry Needling, ICU Management, Degenerative Joint Disorder Management, Neuro Manual Therapy, Trigger Point Therapy, Tele Rehabilitation, and the role of Physiotherapy in children with special needs. In addition to the lectures, the conference featured stalls where vendors offered the latest orthopedic equipment at discounted rates. This initiative not only facilitated access to advanced physiotherapy products but also fostered cultural exchange among delegates, who shared their experiences and knowledge about new technologies. The participants and delegates expressed the need for such conferences to continue in the future, highlighting their importance in raising awareness about the benefits of advanced physiotherapy and improving patient care in the Kashmir Valley.
