Anantnag (J&K), December 28 (ANI): Season’s first snowfall blanketed Anantnag district, including Kokernag, Pahalgam, and surrounding areas. Snowfall brought joy to residents and sense of optimism for the region’s agriculture and horticulture sectors. The snow also added to scenic beauty, attracting visitors to the picturesque locales of Kokernag, Pahalgam. However, heavy snowfall in parts of J&K has also brought some difficulties in the region. Residents are facing problems as the transportation has been bought to halt after heavy snowfall. People expressed their resentment with the state government alleging inadequate arrangements and preparedness.
