Ramban(J&K), February 17(ANI): A successful inspection and Speed Trial Run on an 8-coach train from Khari to Sangaldan in Ramban of Jammu and Kashmir took place on February 17. Commissioner of Railway Security for the Northern Railway Circle, Dinesh Chand Deshwal, played a pivotal role in the successful inspection. It covered 33.442 km in just 28 minutes, signifying a remarkable milestone for the Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla New Broad Gauge Link Project. Prior to the Speed Trial Run, Deshwal personally ensured the clearance of the single rail track between Khari and Sangaldan, underscoring a commitment to safety and quality. 35 km from Ramban, the Sangaldan village in Tehsil Gool of the Ramban district is poised to benefit from the extended rail route. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the regular train service on February 20, bringing positive changes in the livelihoods. The region's natural attractions, including the TattaPani Hot Spring, are expected to attract visitors, fostering economic growth and cultural exchange.
