Gulmarg (J&K), Jan 25 (ANI): Gulmarg, a popular hill station and ski resort of Jammu and Kashmir, offers an unforgettable experience for tourists during the winter months. It remains popular for winter activities such as skiing, snowboarding, and snowshoeing. In these winter activities, one of the most popular is sledge ride. Tourists, both domestic and international, flock to the snow-covered slopes to enjoy this thrilling ride through pristine landscapes. The charming wooden sledges, pulled by trained local ponies, glide over thick snow, provides visitors with a picturesque view of the majestic mountains and snow-clad forests. The excitement of speeding down from the slopes created a memorable experience for the tourists. During winter season, shopkeepers, skiing trainers, taxi operators and sledge owners also did very good business and earn their livelihood properly.
