J&K: Massive search ops launched in Akhnoor after locals reported sighting unidentified men in area

Akhnoor (J&K) July 12 (ANI): Panic broke out in J&K’s Akhnoor after locals reported seeing unidentified persons in the area on July 12. Speaking to ANI, locals informed that the unidentified persons were also carrying weapons. The Indian Army and J&K Police are on high alert after receiving information and have launched a massive search operation in the area. Multiple attacks in the valley in the last few weeks have created a sense of fear among the locals. The first week of July also witnessed twin encounters in Kulgam in which two soldiers were martyred and six terrorists were neutralised.
