J&K: Markets in Srinagar thrive as Eid approaches

Srinagar, April 09 (ANI): For the auspicious occasion of Eid, major markets of Srinagar are bustling with excitement and fervour. The streets are lined with vendors selling festive decorations, sweets, clothes and gifts for the festival. From traditional outfits to modern trends, the markets are filled with a wide range of options. Shopkeepers are displaying the best merchandise and customers are browsing to find their best ‘Eid-fit’. Some shops adorned with vibrant lights sought to attract more shoppers, adding to the festive ambiance. Eid Al-Fitr is celebrated by Muslims worldwide as it marks the end of the month-long dawn to sunset fasting of Ramadan.
