Udhampur (J&K), January 13 (ANI): On January 13, the BJP office in Jammu and Kashmir’s Udhampur resonated with the joyous ambiance of Lohri as party leaders and activists gathered to partake in the folk festival. The event featured the traditional lighting of a bonfire and the offering of grains and sweets, symbolizing gratitude towards God. This celebration signifies the onset of the harvest season and the ripening of winter crops. Arun Gupta, the BJP President of Udhampur District, presided over the celebration, drawing a substantial turnout of party members.
