J&K LG Manoj Sinha inaugurates 2-day workshop on Child Rights & Protection in Srinagar

Srinagar, Sept 14 (ANI): Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha inaugurated 2-day workshop on sensitisation training programme for representatives of child rights and protection. The workshop is being held at Sher-i-Kashmir International Conference Centre in Srinagar. It is being organised by Ministry of Women and Child Development in collaboration with J&K’s Social Welfare Department. The purpose of the workshop is to strengthen child protection system and mechanism for representatives of all stakeholders. Representatives of the social welfare department, police, ULBs and other stake holders were also present. Higher authority of concerned dept announced various schemes on the protection and child development programs.
