J&K LG Manoj Sinha honours Women Achievers of Kashmir

Srinagar, October 26 (ANI): In a grand celebration of “NARI SHAKTI”, the women achievers of Kashmir were honoured and facilitated by Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha in Srinagar. The ceremony acknowledged and celebrated the remarkable achievements of women from diverse backgrounds, including education, entrepreneurship, social work, the arts, sports, and various other fields. Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha took this opportunity to acknowledge the significant role played by women in the progress and development of the region. He underlined the importance of gender equality and the need for society to recognise and appreciate the invaluable contributions of women. While addressing the felicitation ceremony of the Women Achievers of Kashmir, Manoj Sinha said, "It is our collective responsibility that we improve, guide, and nurture the situation for the upcoming generation so that they can move ahead in life. I would like to tell all the achievers present here today that the Jammu and Kashmir administration does not consider women and their powers less than men." The awardees also expressed gratitude for the support provided by the Jammu and Kashmir administrations and stated, “A lot of women in J&K are achieving excellence in their respective fields, and such awards are a testament to their hard work and determination.”
