Akhnoor (J&K), January 15 (ANI): The Indian Army came to the aid of a homeless family in Akhnoor, Jammu and Kashmir on January 15. Rakesh Kumar, resident of Chak Malal village, lost his grass-thatched hut to a short circuit, leaving his family exposed to the cold and fog. Swiftly responding, the Indian Army set up a tent for them and provided essential food supplies. Grateful for the support, the family and villagers expressed their heartfelt thanks. This noble act stresses the Army's commitment not only to protecting borders but also to standing united with citizens during crises, ensuring their safety and well-being.
