Anantnag (J&K), January 30, (ANI): In Dooru Shahabad town of Anantnag district in Jammu and Kashmir, on January 30, the Horticulture Department of the Jammu and Kashmir government organised an awareness camp for farmers and orchardists focusing on pruning and training of fruit trees. Farmers, growers, and orchardists, along with officials from various departments, actively participated. The camp, emphasising the importance of horticulture for regional growth, educated attendees on key programs like the High-Density Plantation Scheme, MIDH (Mission for Integrated Development of Horticulture), and HADP (Holistic Agriculture Development Programme). Experts provided crucial technical knowledge during advice sessions, fostering a cooperative environment between stakeholders and the department. Farmers and orchardists appreciated the initiative, recognising its positive impact on enhancing productivity.
