Ganderbal (J&K), Oct 13 (ANI): The harvesting of paddy crops is in full swing in Jammu and Kashmir’s Ganderbal. Farmers can be seen busy with the harvesting process of the yearly paddy crop with traditional style and they expect a huge crop this year. It has started in all the districts of the valley including Anantnag, Budgam, Pulwama and Ganderbal which results in farmers trying hard to complete the harvesting process at the proper time. Notably, the climatic condition of the region was also good in the month of October which helped to increase the paddy production in the valley of Kashmir. As per economic point of view, the agriculture sector is considered the backbone of the valley. Every year, in the month of May, farmers start sowing paddy saplings and complete it in the month of June. So that’s why farmers are trying hard to harvest crops in good quantity and expecting a huge output this year.
