Gulmarg (J&K), Feb 29 (ANI): Chinar Open Winter Games 2024, which concluded on February 28, with resounding success and record-breaking participation of 676 individuals in Jammu and Kashmir’s Gulmarg. It was organised by the Pir Panjal Brigade of the Dagger Division which captivated audiences with its exceptional display of athleticism and sportsmanship. It was graced by the General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the 15 Corps Lieutenant General Rajiv Ghai with senior officers and civil administration. This year Winter Games attracted a diverse range of participants from across the valley. From skiing racing to snowboarding competitions, the event featured a wide array of winter sports. Participants took part in various winter sports like Slalom skiing, Snowboarding, Ice-skating and Cross-country skiing. As the Winter Games concluded, organisers expressed their gratitude to all participants, volunteers, and supporters who made this event successful. This landmark event marked a significant milestone in the sports history of Kashmir, heralding a new era of inclusivity and excellence.
