Jammu (J&K), Oct 1 (ANI): West Pakistan refugees celebrated after getting opportunity to vote for the first time after the abrogation of Article 370. They cast their votes in Jammu and Kashmir’s Akhnoor and villages adjoining Line of Control on October 1. Long queues of voters are being seen in the rural areas of Akhnoor since morning. This is the historic day for West Pakistani refugees as they got a chance to exercise their democratic rights. Many refugee families seen this day as a big victory of freedom and rights. Notably, voting underway for the third phase of Assembly Elections 2024 in Jammu and Kashmir’s Akhnoor and villages adjoining Line of Control.
