J&K: Army celebrates Armed Forces Veterans Day at JKLI centre

Srinagar (J&K), Jan 15 (ANI): Armed Forces Veterans Day was marked with profound respect and gratitude, honoring the dedication and sacrifices of military personnel throughout the nation’s history. The event brought together veterans, their families, and officials to celebrate the unwavering spirit of those who have safeguarded the nation's sovereignty. The day commenced with a solemn ceremony at the JKLI Centre in Rangreth, Srinagar, where tributes were paid to the heroes who served the country. Army officials, along with a significant number of veterans, gathered with a shared mission to recognize the unparalleled contributions of the armed forces. During the event, information on new welfare schemes and employment initiatives for veterans was shared by army officers. The GOC Kilo Force honoured Veer Naris and the families of brave hearts who made the ultimate sacrifice for the nation.
