J&K: 150-meter new bridge focused upon connecting at least 80 villages from Pulwama and Budgam

Pulwama (J&K), February 26 (ANI): The construction of a 150-meter new bridge in Rahmoo, Pulwama district is in full swing. After being swept away in 2014 floods, it is slated to reopen its gates to the public. Its estimated cost is approximately 26 crores. The bridge holds immense importance as it is poised to connect at least 80 villages between Pulwama and Budgam districts. The construction work has been done by Roads and Bridges Department (R&B) of Jammu and Kashmir govt funded under Jhelum and Tawi Flood Recovery Project (JTFRP). The bridge not only aims to physically connect communities but also foster social and economic development.
