Srinagar, Oct 15 (ANI): White Globe in association with Aryans Group of Colleges, Chandigarh, organised a captivating boat race on the picturesque Dal Lake in Srinagar. The purpose of the initiative was to promote tourism in the enchanting region of Kashmir. Participants, basically local boatmen, eagerly took to the waters in boats, reflecting the vibrant culture of Kashmir. This event also underscored the collaborative effort between NGO and educational institution, showcasing how partnership can drive local development. Dal Lake, often referred to as the Jewel in the crown of Kashmir, is renowned for its stunning vistas, shikaras, and vibrant houseboats. By hosting a boat race, organizers sought to provide a unique spectacle that blends local traditions with competitive spirit.
