Srinagar (J-K), March 27 (ANI): Art enthusiasts of Srinagar commemorated International Theatre Day with a one-day workshop organized on March 27 by the National School of Drama (NSD) and the Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture, and Languages (JKAACL). Aimed at fostering artistic endeavours and providing a platform for valley residents, participants emphasized the significance of theatre. Contemporary entertainment options such as cinema and digital platforms have diminished theatre's prominence among the younger generation. To reinvigorate interest and provide a platform for budding talents, the workshop, overseen by NSD theatre personalities, received praise from attendees. As demands for future workshops echoed, organizers were commended for their efforts in promoting theatre and cultural activities.
