J&K: Security forces conduct special search operations in Kalakote

Rajouri (J&K) October 03 (ANI): A joint operation by the Indian Army and J&K Police was launched in the area of Kalakote on October 03. The use of technology is being resorted, to monitor the actions of terrorists. Post-September 13, 23 successful operations have been conducted in the Rajouri area. Specific intelligence about the move of some unidentified individuals was received on 01 Oct by Jammu & Kashmir Police (JKP). A joint operation by the Indian Army and JKP was launched in the general area of Kalakote. Presently, intense operations are in progress. On Sept 12, security forces neutralised 2 terrorists during an encounter in Rajouri’s Narla. An Indian Army Colonel, a Major, and a DSP were killed in a gunfight with terrorists on September 13. Col. Manpreet Singh, Major Ashish Dhonchak & DSP Humayun Bhat laid down their lives to safeguard Bharat.
