ISRO successfully launches PSLV-C60 with SpaDeX, innovative payloads from Sriharikota

Sriharikota (Andhra Pradesh), December 30 (ANI): ISRO’s PSLV-C60 launched ambitious SpaDeX mission and 24 innovative payloads into orbit on December 30. Space Docking Experiment (SpaDeX) is a pioneering mission to establish India's capability in orbital docking. Mission is aimed to demonstrate technology needed for rendezvous, docking and undocking of two spacecraft. This technology is key for India’s space ambitions like human spaceflight and Bharatiya Antariksh Station. According to ISRO, India is also aimed at landing human on moon by 2040. Through this mission, India is marching towards becoming the fourth country in the world to have space docking technology.
