New Delhi, October 30 (ANI): In a shocking development, an IDF pilot committed suicide on Oct 28 amid Israel’s war against multi-front. Combat Navigator Maj. (Res.) Asaf Dagan ended his life in a forest near Atlit, The Jerusalem Post quoted his sister Inbal Dagan. The shocking development came days after the Israeli Defence Forces carried out retaliatory strikes on Iran against the Oct 1 attacks. Major Asaf Dagan also left a suicide note for his mother, calling himself “so tired, exhausted”. Inbal Dagan criticized the Israeli Govt alleging outdated, absurd policies regarding traumatized war veterans on social media. Inbal shared her brother’s struggles, saying, “My mother dedicated her life to trying to save Asaf. She emphasized, “Asaf was a clear case of a combat veteran suffering from PTSD... wither away”. She said her mother made relentless efforts but her pleas to Defence Ministry and various other organizations fell on “deaf ears”. Further, IDF allegedly denied Dagan a military burial, according to Inbal’s social media post cited by TJP. Dagan’s family has been calling on the public for support to ensure that he received it and recognition, reported TJP.
