New Delhi, May 22 (ANI): The Israel-Hamas war continues to turn ugly as killing, and bloodshed entered day 229. The horrific war killed thousands on both sides as the to-and-fro operations broadened. IDF continues to pound Gaza as it remains determined to rescue Israeli hostages since Oct 07 war. Now, ICC Prosecutor on May 20 requested arrest warrant against Israeli PM, Defence Minister. ICC also sought an arrest warrant against 3 leading Hamas militants for their alleged roles in Oct 7 attacks. However, the US seemed rattled by ICC’s plea as it warned of sanctions and called ICC an “illegitimate Court”. Further, House Republican Conference Chair Elise Stefanik called ICC an illegitimate court while speaking to New York Post. Stefanik had also met with Netanyahu on May 20 morning as the warrants were announced. Meanwhile, US Prez Joe Biden himself termed the ICC prosecutor's application as "outrageous”. US President Biden stated that the country will always stand with Israel against threats to its security.
