Aligarh (UP), October 10 (ANI): The Israel-Palestine conflict has left the world divided after Hamas’ surprise assault that killed hundreds of people. The West including the US has backed Israel, while countries in Middle East have supported Palestine. Amid protest rallies, students of Aligarh Muslim University marched in solidarity with the Palestinians. The march was taken out on the campus of the university on October 08. Police swung into action after objections were raised on the same. So far, four students have been booked. In a major escalation on October 7, Hamas launched a "surprise attack" on Israel, firing a barrage of rockets into the country. In retaliation, Israel launched lethal air strikes in the Gaza Strip and flattened buildings, killing hundreds in raids.
