Srinagar (J&K), May 06 (ANI): In a groundbreaking move towards inclusive democracy, Srinagar introduces innovative Pink Polling Stations, heralding a new era of voter engagement. Spearheaded by the SVEEP program, these stations target potential voters, especially those aged 18 and above. Pioneered by women, each assembly segment hosts a Pink Polling Station, staffed entirely by women presiding polling officers. Stations offer a nurturing and empowering atmosphere, fostering active civic participation. With a focus on addressing concerns and instilling a sense of ownership, this initiative ignites a spirit of responsibility among citizens.
