India’s GDP growth is massive 8.4 % in Q3; FY24 growth upwardly revised at 7.6 %

New Delhi, Feb 29 (ANI): As per the latest GDP data, Indian economy grew by 8.4% during the October-December quarter for the current financial year 2023-24. With GDP figures at 8.4%, India managed to retain the tag of fastest-growing major economy in the world. Real GDP in the year 2023-24 is estimated to attain a level of Rs 172.90 lakh crore, against the FRE of GDP for the year 2022-23 of Rs 160.71 lakh crore. The growth rate of GDP during 2023-24 has been estimated at 7.6 per cent as compared to growth rate of 7 per cent in 2022-23. In the next three years, India is expected to become the third-largest economy in the world, with a GDP of USD 5 trillion. Firm GDP growth forecasts, inflation at manageable levels, and political stability at central govt level have all contributed to painting a bright picture for Indian economy.
