Minister for Railways on January 11 said that India’s first bullet train project connecting Mumbai and Ahmedabad is under good progress. “270 km long wire duct has been put in place and the work is progressing as per the schedule. The construction of Mumbai-Thane under sea tunnel has also begun…. the construction of bridges over the eight rivers that will lie on route is also running with a good pace, out of which two has already been completed. The task has been initiated to develop the five stations in Ayodhya to increase the capacity…,” said Minister for Railways Ashwini Vaishnaw.
