New Delhi(India), March 21(ANI): The Indian Himalayan Council of Nalanda Buddhist Tradition (IHCNBT) has issued a strong resolution affirming its respect for the reincarnation process of His Holiness the Dalai Lama. During its inaugural general assembly, the council emphasized that the recognition of His Holiness's reincarnation is a deeply religious and cultural matter, independent of any political influence. Lochen Tulku Rinpoche, President of IHCNBT, affirmed that the decision rests entirely with the Dalai Lama, free from political interference. In a historic move, the council also appealed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to confer the Bharat Ratna on His Holiness for his invaluable contributions to preserving the region's cultural and philosophical heritage.
