Shopian (J&K), December 14 (ANI): In a dynamic celebration of culture, the Indian Army collaborated with the District Administration Shopian to organise the Jashn-e-Chillai Kalan musical festival. The celebration was held at Batpora Stadium in South Kashmir’s Shopian and it was hosted by the 12 Sector RR under the aegis of Chinar Corps. The day-long event drew the participation of numerous locals who enthusiastically enjoyed the diverse musical segments. The Batpora Stadium resonated with joy as attendees immersed themselves in a variety of musical performances and cultural events, resiliently facing the chilly breeze. The festival also recognised achievers in education, sports, women empowerment, youth empowerment, and social activism. Jashn-e-Chillai Kalan, an annual festival, serves as a lively prelude to the commencement of Chillai Kalan, 40 days of intense winter beginning on Dec 21.
