Indian army launches Modern Auditorium to boost border tourism in Uri sector of Baramulla

Uri Baramulla (J&K), July 05, 2025 (ANI) : Chinar Corps of Indian army launched modern ‘Mini Auditorium’ to boost border tourism in Uri sector of Baramulla. The opening of the Mini Auditorium at Kaman Aman Setu Post provides a state of the art venue for screening historic, cultural and educative videos / movies for visiting tourists and is also a suitable venue for organising local events, performances and educational programs. The establishment of this new Mini Auditorium at Kaman Aman Setu Post in Uri is a major step by the Chinar Corps of Indian Army to once again revive and promote border tourism in the area. Kaman Aman Setu Post was opened to the public as a Tourist Facility Centre in early 2023 and has since grown as a popular tourist destination. Equipped with state of art sound and lighting system, this 35-seater auditorium also aims to foster creativity, learning and community engagement by hosting a wide range of events from cultural performances to skill-building workshops.
